After running puppy classes in a conventional way for the past few years, we realised that they do not provide the sufficient, in-depth, long-term support new puppy parents need to raise a happy, well adjusted, and well mannered companion. Dogs go through tonnes of developmental changes up until 2 years old when they are considered to be an adult.
With those developmental changes come behavioural challenges. From early puppyhood and settling into their new life, through hormonal changes and adolescence to early adulthood and navigating the World as grown up dog. Their training needs change and the training plan needs to be continuously reviewed and adapted.
A 6 week puppy class simply cannot deliver the sufficient support and guidance, in fact a standard block of classes doesn't even begin to prepare your puppy for their life in our busy World and the expectations we put on our canine companions.​​
That's why we ditched the old structure of puppy classes and created BRAND NEW, COMPLETELY UNIQUE, MULTI LEVEL puppy training programme!
IT'S NOT JUST A PUPPY CLASS!
1-2-1 'Happy Home' Session
Your programme will start with a 60 minute 1-2-1 session at your home.

During this session we will address those early puppyhood, at home struggles.
From toilet training, crate training and sleep to mouthing, leaving household items, safe exercise and feeding.
We will be there, every step of the way to guide you and answer all your questions!

The 'Happy Home' session is a great way for us to understand YOUR goals and hopes for your puppy!

Group Training Sessions
16 weeks of group training. designed to deliver progression and growth for you and your puppy.

There is so much to know about raising a puppy and we simply cannot cover all of it in the in person session. These bonus, on demand lessons will help you fill in the gaps around topics relevant to your puppy's age and training stage.

BEFORE WE START - 'HAPPY HOME' 1-2-1 VISIT
LOCATION: Brockworth Community Centre, Court Road, GL3 4ET
The 'Happy Home' visit is a 1-2-1 session that will take place at your home. It is a great way for us to understand YOUR goals and hoped for your puppy as well as discuss your individual needs. During the session we will answer all your questions about at home management and training and help troubleshoot those early puppyhood struggles. ​​

WEEKS 1 - 6 - PUPPY START UP
LOCATION: Brockworth Community Centre, Court Road, GL3 4ET
The first block is all about those essential early puppyhood foundations. From relationship building games and exercises that grow focus on you to handler mechanics and troubleshooting common puppy struggles.
To help your pup establish strong foundations, block will be taught indoors. ​​

WEEKS 8 - 13 - PUPPY TUNE UP
LOCATION: Brockworth Community Centre, Court Road, GL3 4ET
During the 'Puppy Tune Up' block we will be diving deeper into skills such as impulse control,
calmness, focus, disengagement, confidence, independence, tolerance of frustration and much much more! We will show you how to transfer those skills into real life situations!
This block will be taught predominately indoors with some outdoor exercises.

WEEKS 15 - 21 - PUPPIES OUT & ABOUT
LOCATION: For this block we will be meeting at a different local, public space each week.
Puppies Out And About is all about helping you take all your newly learnt skills into the real World
under a watchful eye of a dog trainer! We will be there to advise based on your pup's reactions
to the environment, grow your skills as a team and troubleshoot any struggles!
These sessions will be taking place every two weeks, to give you plenty of time to put the
learning into practice. These sessions will be taught outdoors.

WEEKS 22 - 26
During the last weeks of your programme you will be able to book 2x 20 minutes phone or video calls to review and adapt your training and keep pushing for more progress. You will also be able to reach out for extra advice and tips at anytime via What'sApp and / or email.
You will have access to new 'Filling in the gaps' sessions focusing on adapting
your training during the adolescent period. ​
