About This Course

Have you ever considered the impact of everyday activities on your dog's physical health? 🤔 Living in a house with hard flooring, having overgrown nails, always being walked on the same side, playing fetch daily, jumping in and out of the car are all likely to lead to stiffness and micro-injuries which over time can manifest as more serious physical problems and onset of early arthritis. *** Did you know that arthritis is the most common cause of chronic pain in dogs? It affects 80% of dogs over the age of 8 years old and 20% of dogs before their first birthday.*** Strong, flexible and balance muscles provide the essential support to our dog’s skeleton and will help keep our dogs active and pain-free for longer. This unique class is suitable for dogs of all ages and physical ability. From puppies, through active adolescent dogs and dogs suffering with common joint disorders (vet permission will be required for those dogs) to our senior dogs. The programme based on slow, controlled and low impact movements and exercises that improve your dog's overall physical ability and help prolong their physical health. In addition, each exercise can be modified and adapted to meet your dog's individual needs. Invest in your dog's physical health and help them: ➡ Develop better body awareness ➡ Promote correct muscle recruitment ➡ Grow flexibility in muscles to prevent stiffness ➡ Improve balance and coordination ➡ Build strength ➡ Address muscular imbalances cause by everyday activities e.g. walking on the same side of their owner or daily fetch ➡ Delay onset of arthritis and help relieve arthritis-related pain In addition to the physical benefits this class can address some of your dog's behavioural struggles too.
